Michelob Lager: 12

Taste: 4 Finish: 3 Visual: 3 Aroma: 2
Total: 12

It pours with a thick head that holds on for a bit. I'm really surprised about the color. It's a dark yellow with a tinge of orange to it. There is a faint malt aroma to it.

Surprisingly it has has good sweet flavor. Decent malt. There is a bit too much fizz to it though. In the back just a hint of hops. It then leaves behind the aftertaste of "American beer" which is not all that appealing.

I expecting this to be pretty bland. While it certainly isn't a German pils, it has a few characteristics that were good. I like the sweetness and the color. But, the fizz keeps building after multiple sips which effectively masks any flavor to it. So, what could have been a decent American pils turns into substandard quickly.
