This is a pretty good beer but not a great Oktoberfest. It has a very malty sweet character to it throughout. It's very tasty. It finishes nicely with smooth malt and just a hint of hops. It kind of has a caramel middle. Unfortunately, to me it doesn't taste like an Oktoberfest. It's similar but is missing something that the German brews have. I can't put my finger on it.
Overall, a very drinkable beer that has a good sweet flavor and a bit of character.
